I've just used the little lawn mower engine plugs that Walmart sells. Just because a mag shocks you doesn't mean there's enough juice to jump a spark plug gap.

Be sure to clean the grease and dirt off of the points after you file and set them (I set mine at 0.018" because in my experience the points tend to open just a tad when the hold down bolt is tightened). I use a small piece of 3x5 card, close the points on it and wiggle the paper back and forth. You'd be surprised at the gunk that comes off even a set that looks perfectly clean.

You might also want to check the air gap between the coil and the magnets and be sure the magnets and coil poles don't have any rust on them. If I remember correctly the WMB has an external coil (sets above the flywheel). With the magenet turned away from the coil loosen the bolts that hold the coil to the mag plate, move the coil up a little, place an ordinary playing card between the coil and the flywheel and turn the flywheel around until the magnet pulls the coil down, tighten the bolts and remove the card.

One final possibility is that the magnet is weak.

No guarantee any of this will work. Good luck.
