The original ignition coils on the 19FB had a tendancy to go bad. MFG defect I believe. The symptoms - engines would run fine for perhaps a few minutes and then studder and spit until they stopped. Once the coil cooled down the engine would run again for a few minutes. Other than the coil the engine was a solid runner. Replacmenet coils are available without the defect and can run upwards of $100.00. The engine date of MFG can be found elsewhere on this site. Parts are available on the Internet / E-bay but you may need to be patient essentially waiting for the part you need to show up. Definately a worth while engine to get running again if it's not already. I believe the manual and or parts lists can be downloaded from www.briggsandstratton.com. If it's still on thier site you may need to dig it out of thier long list of manuals.

Don
