I have a Wisconsin model AKND with electric start/ring gear set up (no alternator). It supposedly came off of a refrigerator rig on a truck. It apparently had a remote gas tank. The two bolts that normally hold the bottom of the tank bracket hold the starter on. I would like to put a tank on, probably sliding the foot of the bracket underneath the starter. That would move it out ~1/16" from the center. Would that be okay? Any other suggestions? This came from my father so I really want to make it a going concern.
