Megneto Ignition Timing:
Two marks will be present on the flywheel; T for top dead center, and S or SP for firing point (20 degrees before top dead center).
Static Timing Method:
Points should just begin to open when the S, or SP mark appears in the center of the timing sight hole.

Note - Your engine model number may have a letter after it. Example K301S or K321AQS or CV22S this is a Version Code. Version Codes are:
A - Special Oil Pan
C - Clutch Model
G - Generator Application
P - Pump Model
Q - Quiet Model
R - Reduction Gear
S - Electric Start
T - Retractable Start
ST - Electric Start and Retractable Start
EP - Electric Plant
