Hi, our club is looking for parts for the Iron Horse engine, D model, we use them in Midget Go-karts for the young kids to learn on.
We have a few barrels, but are looking for some good ones in a Std bore size, other parts, pistons and rings, in std and at 20' and 30' over size. The barrel bore is 2 and 3/8" or 61 mm.
Also like to get some carburetors, the ones with the High and Low mixture needle valves.
Finding it very difficult to find parts now, used be new pistons and rings coming out of China, but have been told that they are no longer available.
So does anyone know of an engine that is in production with the same bore, that the piston and/or rings might fit? Can file ring end gaps and can machine the piston skirt or what ever if required, but a straight up fit would benice, any ideas anyone ??
